The National Initiative for the Care of the Elderly (NICE) – in collaboration with the Palliative Care ECHO Project and the Institute for Life Course and Aging (ILCA) at the University of Toronto – hosted the World Hospice and Palliative Care Day Special Lecture to honor international leaders in the field of hospice palliative care and to provide a platform to spread hospice, palliative care awareness and knowledge.
This talk highlighted public health developments in palliative care and linked them to the theme of Healing Hearts and Communities.
